Well in Islam you can't date per say in the traditional Western sense. Does that mean you can't meet and get to know a perspective spouse , absolutely NOT! Muslims are encouraged to see and discuss important things with a potential spouse, doesn't mean you start sleeping with the girl! Technically Muslim men are allowed to Marry "Ahle Kitab" Ie people of the book, ie Jewish and Christian women. However usually it is discouraged, as religious conflicts can arise, none the less it is allowed but its limited to Jews and Christians only. Personally NO I wouldn't do it, you have to look at things long term, from a long term perspective I wouldn't do it, unless the lady was at least interested in educating herself about Islam, note I said educate, not convert. I don't think anyone would want a girl to convert just for marriage purposes. If she was willing to educate herself and learn about Islam I might continue to pursue the matter, but in the end if she decided it wasn't for her, then I would wish her well and be on my way. At the end of the day, I wouldn't bother with a Christian or Non Muslim girl, there are so many good Muslim women out there and I would want someone who would be compatible with me in terms of religion, that's just me though.

When I was younger I had dated girls who were not Muslim... I wouldn't marry one though. Too much conflict.
