What is up with these people who decide to open up “bye bye everyone, im leaving” walay threads?
Are you looking for someone to stop you? Do you need the self-esteem boost to know that someone doesn’t want you to leave?
Why open a thread in the first place? Why not just stop posting? Chances are - very few people would open a thread up on you to find out where you are - if they want to know, they might just PM you.
So…er … leave and after 6 months see if you got any PM’s?

again... to each his/her own... you can't generalize to say people do it cuz they need some veneration or esteem boosts - some may have genuine reasons for letting everyone know.
A formal farewell may be a positive reflection of the relationships you have developed overtime.

that is the reason for a little feature we have in this forum called “private message.” Go cry, hug, kiss, have sex, make babies with your jigri dost in the private message. The general populace of GS don’t need to know of your highly emotional departure from GS. And the worst thing is that people who says they are leaving almost NEVER leaves. Or atleast they come back with a new nick.
