The thread was locked, but I wanted to add that 19 is not necessary the age when vertical growth stops.
It is is good topic and probably has been discussed before but was good to discuss again.
Many different regions in this world have different age for continued growth.
It is reported up to age 74 years (measured)!
So no one can be sure of anyone’s age when it will make the person stop growing tall.
yes there are medicines which can make someone grow taller but side effects need to be kept in mind. One just have to take it during right time and has a physician advice too. Medicines should be reserved for those who really are too short and uncomfortable with their height.
Good balanced diet with vitamins, banana, milk, long sleeps on back straight legged and light regular exercises are also good. Monkey bar, posture changes and stretching exercises help.
While age, maturity, genetics play imprtant role but no one should be discouraged on the basis of age/puberty only.
SF, one can physically stop growing around 11. Title of the thread clearly indicates “physical” growth…therefore the type of growth need not be specified.
okay I am 26 and maybe because i have started regular yoga since 3 years i have grown taller. My husband noticed and i measured and found out i grew from 5'6" to 5'7" so you cant blame puberty for that. I guess it varies till long after that.
get a proper trainer he will guide you i guess yoga is not that effective for men it only increases flexibility and to that women’s body is more prone. Thats just my opinion but for you get a professional training he will help you with all the stretching exercises.
