Green Jewellery

Green jewellery and matching family!!

Green jewellery:
Simple at-home-engagement, only with immediate family and a few friends. My friend wants to wear this jewellery, but we have no idea what kind of clothing she should go for, or in what colour? She’s the weirdest thing ever! She had her jewellery picked out, but is clueless about everything else …

I hope you guys can give us some ideas!
We’ve gone thru tons of asians magazines but we’re still pretty clueless about what kind of clothes she should get made and in wat colour :frowning:

Matching family:

Is having parents and siblings wear matching clothes taking it too far for an engagement? Me and my friend like the idea, after stalking engagement and wedding pictures online, we’ve decided it should be done!

What kind of options are there, if the engagement-bride picks a peach coloured engagement dress? What type a clothing could a mother, father, brother and a sister wear?

Re: Green Jewellery

I immediately thought of this pic when I saw this jewelry. Maybe make a similar outfit?

Re: Green Jewellery

oh wow! That dress is gorgeous! My friend will die for the long sleeves! They actually look really nice! :D

Re: Green Jewellery

Powder pink or peach outfit will look lovely

Re: Green Jewellery

Love the idea of peach! I've actually haven't seen any engagement brides wearing peach!

Re: Green Jewellery

I agree with raania. Either pinky or peachy with subtle green/emerald detailing so that the jewellery matches with it.

Re: Green Jewellery

If you're gonna match the family, match them with the decor, not the bride. She should stand out. For my wedding, some of my decor was silver, so the males wore grey sherwanis and the women wore outfits with silver kaam.

Re: Green Jewellery

One of
My cousins wore a peach and emerald green outfits for the Walima - the bottom was a sharara that was kind of shaded from peach to green, and it was beautiful MA!

Re: Green Jewellery

Hmm if its an engagement, the other family members can wear mint or other pastel shades, the bride must stand out. Also cream/beige/offwhite tones for family will look good when the bride wears peach.

Re: Green Jewellery

She doesn't want to stand out alone, she wants her family to stand out with her. She only wan her immediate family to stand out tough.

Green Jewellery

One idea is to have other members wear same shade. For men or boys same color shirt. It is fine if the dress is peach And green to have the family members wear same color stuff. But matching the bride or outdoing her doesn't make too much sense . Clothing is important but even more important is how you host the grooms family and give importance to them as two families try to merge together. Engagement is a trial period b4 wedding. What clothes her family wears is less important.
