There are news that Greater Pashtunistan boards are appearing in SWAT, DI Khan and other areas of NWFP. Are we finally moving towards the end of Pakistan? The situation of NWFP and Balochistan has deteriorated to an extent that I dont see it improving in the foreseeable future. Map of Greater Pashtunistan includes Balochistan, NWFP and Afghanistan. If we read this development with the different maps being presented by many American think tanks, regarding the dismemberment of Pakistan by 2020 it seems that the stage is now almost set. There is no sense of urgency/sense of direction amongst the government quarters that they want to solve these problems.

I guess people of NWFP and Blochistan are so eager to join the world super power the "Afghanistan"

American think tank never wanted Pakistan to have Nukes, well agaisnt all odds it proved them wrong. if a twisted minded person draw something up in US and who actually havent been in Pakistan or Afghanistan, some people start thinking its word from god and its going to happen.

I agree there are some elements who are trying very hard to destablise Pakistan, RAW, CIA and may be Mossad and MI6 to some extent. certainly it has created problems for Pakistan but Pakistan will overcome.

We still have time to make things right....we need to exactly what British did to Arabs...divided them into smaller countries. All we have to do create smaller provinces and find competent people to run it.

I do not think that there is anything to worry about. For greater Pakhtunistan, Afghanistan would have to break up before Pakistan, as other communities in Afghanistan would not like Pakistani Pakhtuns to join them. Pakhtuns are around 40 percent of Afghanistan but with Pakistani Pakhtuns added, they would become around 65 percent of total population of Afghanistan.

Anyhow, I doubt if majority of Pakhtuns from Pakistan would like to be part of Pakhtunistan, as they would be forced to leave many areas of Pakistan, including many eastern areas of NWFP where majority are not Pakhtuns. Plus economically, they would become similar to Afghanistan, rather worse, because at present opportunities in Pakistan are open to them (even to many Afghans because of Pakistani Pakhtun connections), but after that, they would be foreigners in Pakistan, like Indians, with strong restriction in movement of goods, services, and labour between both countries. On the other hand, most Pakhtuns are patriotic Pakistanis who worked for Pakistan to their best, and thus many would not like to get separated from Pakistan, just to fulfil the ego of some who want to have 'Greater Pakhtunistan dream' get fulfilled. So, if such move would start in big way (other than for pressure purpose) than there is possibility that bloodshed would follow in big way amongst Pakistani Pakhtuns and those who would want separation. If this conflict would start between Pakhtuns than obviously Pakistan would then throw the separatists to Afghanistan and would close the border permanently between two countries.

As far as Balochistan is concerned, maybe a part of North Balochistan may become part of Pakhtunistan, that also, if Pakistani Pakhtuns of Balochistan would agree to it, and Baloch would get their part of Afghanistan. But there is no chance that rest of Balochistan would become part of Pakhtunistan, rather Pakistan may gain Baloch part of Afghanistan. Balochs have close tie with Sindh and both have similar historical background and large population of Sindh being Balochs. Zardari is also Baloch, though from Sindh.

So, this is all rhetoric but if majority really wants that and are serious, I believe they should have greater Pakhtunistan, and Pakistan should help them. Zardari has already started that help by promising to give a name. Maybe, it would satisfy their ego and if there would be any financial crunch for them later, they could fight with each other, strong tribe vanquishing and making weaker tribes slave, instead of causing law and order problem in Pakistan.

Before pakistan was going to end in 2012.

other thing to concern, what will US gain from this?. apparently India or Afghanistan will gain from such scenarios.

unless they are pushing for total strip out Pak nuke status, there is no need of US to support such ideas. Pakistan has never objected to US demands anyway so why would they want to break a obeying country?

I dont know if the US will gain anything or not, but our leader in the past has certainly turned most pakhtuns very anti-pakistani. Its time to undo that damage.

3-Who forced pak to become war on T
4-Who supported mush in indecent like LAL masjid.

Jang on Sunday published a very lengthy interview of Mehmood Khan Achkzai. In the interview he emphasised that although Pushtoons and Balouch are living side by side for centuries, they are poles apart and that Northern Balocuhistan should be merged with NWFP.

When the war was launched in Waziristan, I believed that the war will spread, and thats exactly what has happened now! At thet time many people in this forum used to say that the war is against a small minority or tribals and nothing else. At that moment there was no TTP (Tehreek e Teleban Pakistan). Thanks to the war, we have lost control of almost all of NWFP! Frankly I dont see any way out of it now other than negotiations, and they wont happen until Uncle allows us to although they themselves are negotiating in Afghanistan.

If the situation in NWFP is not calmed in the near future then we should forget about NWFP and Balochistan and think ahead. As by bombing the tribal/settled areas we are playing into American/Indian designs. I am sure that due to our reckless operations in NWFP, Indians/Americans are using their sentiments and providing them with billions of dollars needed by them for launching their uprising against the Pakistani state.

so what you guys suggest, if Pak army leave these areas, they will just lay the arms down and let the local government take over??? I doubt is very much. these warlords has only one agenda power and money where ever and whenever they get it from. If they have not harboured the Taliban and Al qaida from Afghanistan, there will be no attacks inside Pakistan. Now revenge is part of this war to some extent and US and India successfully involved Pakistan areas into this War.

Yeah it is "Grater Pakhtunistan". Note the grater is as in "cheese grater". And just like cheese, these Pakhtun-Islamists and Pakhtun-nationalists are being grated by so many armies right now.

Ordinary Pakhtuns are peace loving Pakistanis. The last thing they want is to join Afghanistan so that they can be as rich as Afghanis.

p.s. Remember it is Pakh and not Push in the real pronunciation.

let's assume Pakistan does break and pakhtuns and balochies do get their own parts.....really phulease someone tell me how in the world these areas with nothing but deserts and mountains and with so many uneducated people and so much poverty will ever survive. I am just concerned that more people will die and they will never be any progress in such small countries. There is no way they can survive their own without full help from neighbouring counties like Pakistan, India, Iran and China and Russia. There is no agriculture no export no import.....just becuz of freaking ego to have a nation names assigned to a land, these idiots will end up destroying more lives. I would have supported this if areas had resources, something to stand up with and start a new country with, but they don't and It is sad that people are so blinded due to race issues.

Well I dont think, at the moment any one will advocate that the army just leave the tribal areas. The bottom line is that the problem will be resolved through negotiations and not wars.

It mostly apperaed in DI Khan and Karak areas and ssuddenly after Ansar Abbasi broke the news of fraud done by the 'religious leadrers' of JUI-F . DI Khan and Karack is now under MNA and MPA of JUI-F and they put up these borads to defame ANP for being anti-Pakistan as ANP is now openly saying that Mulla Diesel have done one of the biggest fraud of Pakistan history as proved by documents. It may be a poltical death of JUI-F so in response they are using these boards against ANP for being anti-Pakistan or breaking it up

Yesterday on Capital Talk ....Hamid Mir called Mulla Somro of JUI-F ..Ansar Abbasi and Secretary Information of ANP where Mulla Somro who is a Senetor but shouting like a mad on Ansar Abbasi . Ansar Abbasi is a nice and graceful man, remained silent but that Mullka Pagal was shouting that Qiyaamat can be established but Hazrat Maulana Fazlur Rehman cannot be convicted....Ansar Abbasi work for Zionists....and such BS

Ansar Abbasi really have brought JUI-F to its political death . MMA ie Mulla Millitary Aliance now have fully proven and Mulla Diesel now cannot defend himself even in court ..so now these chor mullas are putting up borads of Greater Pakhtunistan in Swat and DI Khan areas.
