History was made on December 9, 2009 when Shehzar Mohammad, son of Shoaib Mohammad and grandson of Hanif Mohammad played for PIA at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. He held on to three catches as the wicketkeeper and scored 70 not out in the first innings. PIA chased the target (100) for the loss of one wicket in this four day match.
I know it is the first instance in Pakistan where the third generation cricketer played first class cricket. I wonder if this is unique internationally as well?
I have seen Shehzar play in the USA under-19 and one thing that strikes you is his height. He is twice as tall as his father. lol

Shehzar plays in the USA? Hopefully he's as good in batting as his grandfather and father.
