PC, u got an Xbox? Tell me, if youve played on the PS2 before, preferably a game on both stations, which would you saw takes up more processing speed? Oh, and I also need to know why the Xbox has a big hard disk? What purprose does it serve, especially when the PS2 can get away without having one? Id appreciate your feedback.

I've owned all 3 stations. The xbox was nice, the hard disk is for saving games, and/or music during gameplay. The PS2 was nice, but both of the ones that I had were deffective, so I lost confidence in it. The gamecube however, is unbeleivable. Graphically better than both sytems. Nice little convienient mini-disc (3 inches) toploader. Just awesome. It uses memory cards for saving games, etc. Plus it has many games available for it.
How can you include Gamecube in this dicussion!? That thing is just a paperweight. (no offence)
Gamecube is a advanced version of N64, with a bunch of little kids games. If I were Japanese, I’d be jumping for joy for Nintendo.
Of course Xbox would get no where with the price they had when they first came out, but now more and more games are releasing for it, and the graphics man.. think about the Graphics!!
Besides, Xbox Live has been released. That will bring in many hardcore gamers, with broadband connections.
Modchiping your system is the way to go, but besides that, it’s a really good system. Really advanced, and I recommend it for older audiences, not children. (Genre of games).

Spock yaar.. my friend has a PS2, and initially if you look at the gameplay, and smooth textures, then Xbox wins. Although, there is more variety of games for PS2 at the moment.
And like Fret Wizard said, the Hard Drive is really good to put your music (mp3) on. Also Xbox loads faster, hence the processor.

PC since the Xbox came out later, one would have expected it to be alot better than the PS2, but I dont think the difference is that noteworthy, and the PS2 with all its variety is a good and popular choice. Another thing I dont understand is why they have a 6GB disc to save games... Storing music on Xbox, well, thats not too appealing is it. They could have cut down on the hard disk space considerably and lowered the price. Graphics on the Xbox would obviously be alot better, but you mentioned processing speed, some people are complaining its slowe than the PS2. Anywayz, thank you for the analysis.

What crap are you posting here..There is no way PS2 can compete with XBOX....nor graphic wise nor sound nor anything..and heck which game are you talking about that is slower in loading?
The only difference is, one has less games to offer and the other too many!!

So for those who have played both Vice City and GTA3, what are the main differences, like graphics, controls, fun factor, story line, new features.
playstation 2 is cool,
specs wise, the xbox beats PS2.
anyway, at the end of the day, it comes down to the quality of the games.
the graphics in vice city are near enough the same as gta3 but everything is a lot brighter in vice city.
the controls are more or less the same, there’s a few things you can do in vice city which u couldn’t do in gta3 like jumping out of a burning car while its travelling at full speed.
it’s way more fun than gta3! the story line kicks a*** and your character can talk this time round.
there’s a lot more variety in the missions.
basically, it’s a kick a*** game :k:

If you want to see differences, try playing an exclusive release on the xBox… because some games being developed for multiconsole use are written to be backward compatible with GameCude and PS2, so u might not see any major differences.
Xbox has far better graphics and dolby 5.1 sound… does play station have that? Even the CPUs cannot be compared, for whatever PS2 has, every xBox has a 700MHz Pentium III processor.
So it’s just the quantity of the games, but from all the games I have seen for xBox, I am happy that I bought the xBox instead of the PS2. Much better!

xbox has heaps of potential, they just need to start bringing out more top quality games.
spec wise, as already mentioned, it’s way more powerfull than the ps2, and i would consider buying it, if i wasn’t so skint.
