I have said many times that was the only case for which he was directly responisble. He should be punished to set an example for future adventurists. This is right time. Again (after Karachi decision) well done Ch Nisar!

They will focus on 03 Nov only and not 12 Oct. Anyways, nothing will come out of this exercise. just an eyewash to shift attention from far more pressing issues.

Ali I think it's fine to bell the cat now. Pakistan will always remain at crossroads, just as we grew up listening to Pakistan being at a critical juncture. Given the maturity of our electorate and absence of accountability, Pakistan may never have a proper time to do that.

I think this was all planned. The present CJ is tainted by son's trial, PCO oath etc. and the present COAS Kayani (He was VCOAS then) was also part of the emergency of 2007. Both are retiring over the next few weeks

They wanted Mushy's trial under a new CJ

Nothing will come of it. This is just an attempt to divert public attention from current poor governance of the government.

They are trying to make a precedent that next time army takes over, the Chief should not spare the overthrown ruler, should never give up the 'wardi' and should prefer 85 like referendum over participating in general elections.

If Mushy is going to be charged with treason all the judges and generals who facilitated his coups should be charged, including the CJ. Otherwise, selective justice is no justice, but a revenge.

I will give it to Musharraf. NS wants to exile him just like Mush exiled him. But Mush is standing firm and has not left the country despite diplomatic opportunities created for him. Unlike NS himself who could not do that himself.. took whole tabbar with him :)
