The Government policies regarding Swat Crisis have badly failed. No doubt that the Swat Operation must have to be started as it was the need of time also but whenever you start an army operation you must have to conduct a survey of that place that if there are large amount of civilians living there then what harm it would do to the civilians and to what extent or amount the people would be displaced or killed or migrate.
So it was the duty of the government to ensure financial and other medical and food aid as well as aid for shelter of refugees in safe areas and places. During this operation some government officials also said that the government’s probability of total amount of refugees was not so large as it has been during this operation. About 2.5 million refugees have migrated from the tribal areas and swat, dir and buner.
Moreover, there are also some places where still food and aid had not reached and in those places poor people had even not had food from 9 days. Now this is something very shameful for the government, army and us as a nation that we have left our brothers and sisters of swat alone in such a dreadful situation. There have been many civilian killings as well as talibanic and army personnel killing from both sides.
Human Rights Watch has also said that both the talibans and the army are doing wrong in this situation which would result in a great humanitarian crisis. This large scale migration is said to be the second largest migration in the Pakistan’s history after the migration of 1947.
In many places where the aid still had not been delivered, when the desperate people fought for every bit of food with each other and when they started snatching food items of aid for their family’s survival then some food officers also announced to stop giving them food and aid items. Now this is such a brutality and a stupidity in this dreadful situation because afterall government is responsible for what is happening all around not those poor brothers and sisters who are desperate for their survival. And such officers must be taken to full task.
Now, the thing is that if the government officials even don’t bothered to know the result of this dreadful humanitarian crisis after army operation and if they underestimated the migration of refugees then such president, such prime minister and such ministers must have to resign from their seats they do not deserve to be on the seats now because even talibans have not killed millions of people in their terrorist attacks which would be killed in a humanitarian crisis after army operation due to irresponsibility and under estimation and slavery of government.
Moreover, the US Officials are also saying and pressurizing Pakistan not to focus on Indian borders but to take fully participation against talibans becoz India is not an enemy of Pakistan according to them but real enemy are talibans. Now look at the tone of the enemy that it is pressurizing Pakistan Army not to focus on real enemy but to focus on Taliban so that our enemies India, US, NATO would be able to destroy and attack Pakistan in such a dreadful situation. They are also destroying Pakistan internally through such a large scale humanitarian crisis as well as attacking inside Pakistani territories through drones and through intelligence operations and now they are also paving the way to attack Pakistan.
Moreover, If US and NATO can attack and give finance for WAR AGAINST SO CALLED TERROR before starting of their operations with collaboration of Pakistani forces then why they not gave a sufficient amount to Pakistan to cater the situation of large scale refugees and a humanitarian crisis?. Now this is something to think about for all the Pakistanis who have not sold their conscious yet that actually what is going on here and still we all are sleeping.
Infact we all have stopped to care about our people we have stopped thinking of the dreadful situation and the feelings and miseries through which our brothers and sisters are going through. And that is very bad indeed very bad situation.
Those people who say that actually this war is Pakistan’s own war and for Pakistan’s own safety then yes I admit it but only now it had become Pakistan’s war, otherwise when at first the US attacked Afghanistan it was only US war not Pakistan’s and today which bomb blasts and extremism we are seeing is just because of government’s wrong policies and those ignorant talibans also like to become the religious landlords.
But in the reality and in the beginning, this war was and is the US War, not a Pakistani War.
And Our Government and people must seriously think about it, otherwise Pakistan already has many enemies from internally and externally to deal with.
Please come forward to help those poor people of the nation, our brothers and sisters who are desperate and fighting for their survival.
Quite idiotic, now that even their favorite party who called for the operation while being thousands of KM’s away from the troubled spot, is not so keen on having these displaced IDPs in their territories. Next time think before you call for wars.
