I remember the day Prime TV came, not many people actually knew it was even playing.
I went to Devon Street on Saturday, and some shop guys were saying the same thing that August 14th is the day for ARY to show up.
I phoned Bell, and they have no idea about this channel. Although if it does come, you will need the Twin LNB, or SW-21 switch.
Btw, ARY Digital will be free probably for one month. The Korean channels (3) just got added to DISH lineup.. on 61.5. ARY will end up on 61.5 for the time being, then maybe do a switch to the new sat's.

the fact that ARY shows cricket matches is NOT enought for dish network not to allow this channel in their line-up 'cuz ARY will simply NOT air cricket matches and air some dramas, movies etc instead. The same case with PTV Prime. PTV shows cricket matches in Pakistan but not in the U.S.
As for the rest of you guys. Well, i read what I read and 14 aug isn't that far, so we'll see.
Well I remember Zee TV, Sony, TV Asia used to air live cricket matches seldomly, and they were also on dish network.
And still dish network never broadcasts each and every single series', specially not so important ones like Morroco Cup, Super Challenge II, Asia Cup, which were all for free in one of those Indian channels.

Scroll up and see, hum log yahaa makhiyaan nahee mar rahe, Ive already called up ARY (the call did cost me too)and Dish Network several times, they said 'no' but then again, they were not even sure when the new tri-LNB dish was coming out, so I think this news might still turn out to be true... We will find out on 14th, and yes peoples champ, when youre online on MSN, msg me, there is something interesting I found about the international channels ;)
Guys, just relax...ARY will in the US very shortly. I spoke to a dishnetwork guy who called to ask me how i was liking the channel (PTV Prime) and what can be done to improve it. So i asked him about ARY and he said just to give me a guaranteed time frame, it'll be a couple of months till ARY is launched here, but it can very well be before that. So Gohan could be right about august 14th.

I went to Rogers personally to sign up for the ARY…and its not available yet. May be Aug 14th…but even thats not confirmed.
