it hurts me more when i see hands try to compete their creator. we are not made for this. this way you are restricting your domain of finding ALLAH SWT, your hunger to seek the realization, and sensation connected with this phenomenon!

you are also created by the God, why dont you worship yourselves then? why you need to make something and then to worship it. y dont you believe your thinking, and feel ALLAH SWT's presence that where ever you are, or where you are not, ALLAH SWT is there.

plants are also living-things, so why you even eat them as well? another aspect is of carrying capacity, dont forget excessiveness of any thing disturbs the [food] chain.
