i know about bundu khan and tayyabs(although far but wud luv to try them as soon as i get sometime)..whatelse???
Why don't you try Kebabish, Himalaya oh and Ambala's do food..not just mithai! Kebabish and Himalaya are in Green Street btw.
i have eaten @ kebabish which is in upton park and it was just ok...too spicy for me....they put some extra chaat masala over the grilled food:-/..this green street is green park right?
@rupayhalwa ...this lebanese turkish food i have eaten already at westfield in shepherd's bush...
@uzzybuzzy...there is no halal pizza hut in whole london? :O BAD...i have aten at Nando's as well..yaar chicken cottage @ oxford indeed sucks:-/ with that bad experience didn't bother to try @ dixys:$

by the way last night i was in camden town and there found fri-chicks...didn't try but that was appearing to me much closer to kfc...
anyway tonight had a gr8 dinner ..though quite expensive but indeed awesome at bundu khan, aldgate east...

Check out zabihah.com. It has listing of halal places all over the world. I use it for my home state in America. This is a site for word of mouth meaning if a person discovers a halal place, they add it to the site. The caveat is on you to confirm any location listed as halal.
i’ve found some reeeally good chinese places in the bayswater area.
check out Kiasu… straits of malacca/malaysian/singaporean/chinese/thai type food. quite different from your usual fare and pretty cheap (weekdays lunch 5 pounds for starter+main course)
also there is magic wok a shanghainese restaurant thats recently gone Halal.
i know you said not tayyabs but since i just went there for the first time on my trip, ive gotta say the lamb chops were out of this world! and if u live in london u need to try that place!

Hmm, I've heard alot about these lamb chops... But 3 people I know in real life went there and had dodgy stomachs afterwards, however, I think I might risk that just to see what the fuss is about!
