When I asked about the parents....I wasn't really asking if they're golddiggers or if they're wealthy. I was wondering more about whether or not at least one of them also has the tendency to show off in a false manner? Or if they're very materialistic...if it's a happy or dysfunctional home environment.

I still think that guys who have a healhier self-esteem would not fall as hard for this girl. I think they'd wake up before she does too much damage. Or perhaps they did not have as much experience with girls and couldn't manage the situation well....or who knows.....maybe they were feeling vulnerable and couldn't let her go that easily. OR.........maybe on some level they were also attracted to the status and wealth that she falsely claimed she had. All you have to go on is the accounts that the guys have shared with you.........but have you or any of the other girls actually witnessed intimate interactions between her and a guy? Maybe when she's with a guy....it's a combination of the way that she carries herself (yes, despite the average looks), her clothes, her body language, the way she talks, maybe she knows how to boost their ego and be mysterious and aloof and leave them wanting for more.

-are guys seriously oblivious to what is actually happening?
-are they bartering themselves and their money for looks?
-is physical beauty honestly worth dealing with needy clingy bull**** on a minute to minute basis while dishing out hard earned money?
-golddiggers : do they really appeal to men so much? or is it the fake damsel in distress thing?
- how dumb are men?

I agree RV that she is totally a "wow you killed the spider, you are such a MAN" with the men. She appeals to the protective instinct in them. I also agree with you that men with obvious low self esteem issues, basically boys who want to feel like men, would fall for her. Im surprised that a casanova type did. :D

It's as simple as the market.

As long as supply of good looking material is on sale, buyers will be there.

Not sure what it has to do with manliness or... lack of it.

^So there you go, Demesne. Your question as to HOW this could have happened and WHY they might be going lattoo over her has been answered.

As Sara said before....perhaps the casanova is leading her on. Or perhaps he's only going to be interested in her so long as she can manage to successfully play hard to get and capture his curiosity.....and once he gets bored....he'll drop her. You said that he does realize that she's materialistic.......so keeping that in mind.....might help him play his game better, as awful as it sounds. He might exaggerate his wealth and status......get her believing enough to surrender........use her and then dump her.

Or maybe on some level what attracts the cassanova to this woman is that he can sense/tell that she's a player just like him. And in that regard...he could see her as an equal. Maybe the reason why she appears more exciting (for the time being) to him is that the other women he had snared in the past were more clueless.............wherease she being a player herself presents more of a challenge. Plus the Casanova may have heard about how many guys fell for her, depleted their wallets, and still never managed to get her......so this info makes her more appealing to him. Also the knowledge that she goes after so many men and does not commit to them....(just like he doesn't commit to any woman)...may also appeal to him. He's intrigued...but it may not be with the right intentions.

As for updates on her......they won't really affect us.......but there will always be interesting "updates" about her whether she's single or gets married and has babies....especially if she doesn't get effective treatment or somehow turns herself around. I hope that happens for her.

But here's an interesting question: For the women that are so turned off by her and are aware of her antics.............how would they feel if their own brother or husband fell for her? Would they put all the blame on this girl and see the guy as a bechara victim........or would they be smart enough to place some responsibility on the men in their lives?

Ive always maintained I'd yank my brothers out from her clutches by their hair should I have to. And they'd definitely be held responsible for being so idiotic and shallow. Responsibility is definitely on the male. And any male who falls for her deserves her IMO

is being a girl who goes for a guy who is financially well-off inferior to one who goes for a guy who is educated/no sisters/hot/etc? leave her alone. at least she knows what she wants unlike 99.9% of girls who are in love with their wedding lehngas.

But...tell me this...how does this affect you?

I know PLENTY of girls like the one you described...PLENTY. However, I have learned that what you see is not necessarily what it is.

I am not defending this girl. BUT I am curious about something...SHE abuses her body and herself. She does things to hurt herself...as demented as it is. She is obviously a victim of low self-esteem and a whole host of other emotional issues.

How is making fun of her any better than that?

This is not meant to be offensive at all...

I'm guessing he knows and he's as much of a player as she is. He doesn't seem like the kind who would die quietly leaving her a huge estate, he's probably planning on marrying at least another 5 times.
