Yeah I guess there is no set of pattern, My MIL told me she is giving me what she gave her other DILs or will give in future (she has got 5 of em :)). So all of us got the same amount and there is no such talks as she got more or less.
Anyway do u think it appropiate to change the gold u got from inlaws as u dont really like the design ? I am for it as then I can get something different to my liking and wont have to pay more zakat on something that is just sitting there.
