Why Desi emphasise on gol roti? Girls are considered to learn making roti, when they come up with gol roti. drawing ka muqabla hai?

Fresco near Burns Road Karachi, sell chokor Arabic parathas, so I think gol roti is a sub-continent phenomeno.

Any views opposite to this? Any experience of seeing different shape rotis in different cultures?

Yaar, chokor paratha is also sub-continent thing.

Afghani Naan is longer in shape but close to rectangle, and Iraqi bread is oval shaped.
