As for collecting data, what kind of data? Name, age, location, vital stats etc? How is that any different from a rishta process which people are seeking to avoid? People are going to go to these events to get a feel for the person, how they are by talking to them, not what they look like on paper.

Haha..reminds me of that HIMYM episode, where this dating agency takes Ted’s data and puts it in a computer to find him a match.
