Re: Going to dubai

what is that, beach or a resort or fun land or shopping mall or or or

pls tell me some good place to have some chargha or sajhi :yummy:

I'm a vegetarian..but they have great food at Gazebo and BBQ Delights.

Re: Going to dubai

and the taxi guys would know how to get there rite :@:

When will you be in Dubai? Let me know.

Your friend was right. If you have an Australian passport, you will get a 30-day visa on arrival automatically. If you’re Pakistani, you can’t leave the airport without a previously issued visa. But that visa is normally arranged for by the hotel, if you ask them to do it and send them your passport details, etc. at least 7 days in advance.

Re: Going to dubai

i will be there on 29th jan morning around 6am and i have already given them my passport details abt two weeks ago. I have pakistani passport not Australian yet. I think and according to my friend i ll be arrite go out, any way I ll confirm that with Emirates today. :)

Gazebo is in Bin Sougat center :) go to The Dubai Mall!

They should send you a copy of the original visa page, which you will have to take to the visa collection counter when you arrive in Dubai.

I'll be in London on 29th, otherwise it would have been nice to meet up.

Re: Going to dubai

I went to Dubia recently. Here are some worthy places to visit:

  • Emirates mall
  • Dubia mall
  • Al Nasar Leisure land (ice skating and bowling)

Well there ain't much more there except shopping malls. I pretty much dislike Dubia after my last visit. The prices are insane, The Texi drivers are usually morons, and most pakistani and indians are treated like dirt there.

As a bonus I also fell ill there with some kind of viral infection that affects the stomach and the throat simultaneously. Never would I eat another shawarma after the vomiting process I went through.

^ LOL.. one bad case of a viral infection made u not like Dubai?

I love the malls..cafe's.. the weather too currently! :)

yup i ll get from their office at the sydney airport :)

Re: Going to dubai

don't go to dubai mall yet. there are a lot of things that need to be set up, lots more stores that are opening. plus, it feels claustrophobic. and dark. the only good thing there is the aquarium...and the skating rink. oh and if you do go to dubai mall, don't forget to stare at the burj dubai once you get out of the mall.

if you reeeeeeally wanna go to a mall, head to dubai festival city, or mall of emirates. those places are nice.

Dubai mall is like a never-ending football field! been there once, not going again! :emmy:

Re: Going to dubai

ohh!! that;s nice...

Re: Going to dubai

^ whats nice? :-/

I suggest you double check.

They do give transit-visa....on a further destination confirmed ticket but at a cost. Visit EMIRATES website which says it all....

Agarr Karachi aao...tou zaroor milna.

Re: Going to dubai

He was going to the Dubai( that great)

I went to Dubai Mall this past Sunday, it's true many shops/rests aren't open but it's certainly not dark! Uff it's never-ending! Remember to wear comfy shoes! Festival City is nice.. The Walk in Marina is fantastic as well!

Re: Going to dubai

I'm moving to Dubai next month. Hope it is a good experience.
