Going to Dubai and Lahore Soon

HI Everyone, okay i am leaving for Dubai and Lahore soon and i am exicted abt starting shopping mad but also worried abt finding nothing!!! i know stupid!!!

Before i leave i was wondering if anyone can give me any shopping tips as i have no one decent (WHo know abt fashion) to go with me and my mum can’t come with me, she has a heart problem and has been advised against travelling

Firstly i was wondering if anyone can give me any names or addresses of fabric shops in Dubai that i can go to. My mum wants me to bring back a nice suit (loose fabric one)

Secondly where is the best to get mens sherwani’s and mehindi outfits such as kurta’s. Could somone supply an address as i will have to give that to the taxi driver.

Any help is appriectied.

Hmm you can search the fashion forum and wedding forum for similar threads but for men's kurtas etc there is diva's .. manish malhotra .. regal .. garden and lots more.. and all these can be used for loose fabric too.. basically the main areas in dubai that you have to go to are meena bazar and naif souk. meena bazaar has lots and lots of variety of loose fabric clothing and suitings and stuff.

Fabric is best in Pakistan! Aashiana, Gulf, Park Towers and Dolmen Mall have plenty of pretty fabrics! I wudn't buy loose material from Dubai.. it's way better in Pakistan. If u're mum still insists then Regal and Regalia.. Jashn (for sari's) and Meena Bazaar have fabrics :)
