Groupon is website that advertises discounts and promotions for various vendors. You buy a voucher for the discounted price of that product. Click on the link GTG provided and you'll find a discounted price for the hotel room. You buy the "groupon" and use that voucher to book your stay at that particular Marriott.

why can't you take a rental car across the bodrder? as far as i know, if you let Rental company know about your destination they'll allow you to drive their car across the border.

other option is the Niagara Transit Bus service that serves Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

If you can’t cross over the border, than just stay on the American side of the Falls?

American or Canadian Side of Niagara Falls

You’ll still be able to do the Maid of the Mist boat ride past Bridal Veil on the American side. There is also an observation deck and a walking tour on a deck that takes you 20 ft away from the the Bridal Veil falls.

KKF, if I don't rent a car directly from car rental company, there is geographical restriction evn though its unlimited miles. renting directly is quite expensive, but no geographical restriction. hhmm

same.. groupon is a deal of teh day kinda website.. you can find amazing vacation deals in addition to local restaurants, entertainment, spa packages etc.. sky is the limit! We use groupon a lot for activities around the area nd I have booked several hotels through the groupon deals.. you pay on groupon.com, they will give you a voucher, and then you call the hotel to book dates!

I dont remember the name of restaurant.. it was at a walking distance from the falls..its a very much tourist place.. we just walked up and down the block enjoying the view and randomly checking out places.. oh I rememeber one time we even checked out ripleys believe it or not.. it was okayish!

drive in your own car? if you rent directly, you can still find deals.. there are coupons for avis, budget etc that can offer discount of 20% or more!

if you have to stay in the US, then you migh as well do the lake george in Albany, NY! there really isnt much on NY side of the falls :D

Gtg, thats why i am not goin to ny cuz there isnt much to do. Is arabic food halal at niagara falls? Also, where can i get 20% discounts coupon for the car. Btw, i m flying from miami to chicago. Inshallah goin end of this month.thank u

ok I think it was this restaurant and they did say it was halal..I m only going by memory of the pics that I saw online so you should check with them.

In Chicago, don't forget to have the legendary Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Giordano's and Pizzeria UNO are both highly recommended. But there are lots of other good choices around too like Lou Malnati's Pizzeria.

Also popcorn from Garrett Popcorn Shops should not be missed if you have time. I personally love the 'Chicago Mix' but there are other flavors too.

As for Devon, Gemini the Great has already mentioned Sabri Nihari. Obviously its Nihari is famous. Its frontier chicken is not bad either. Nearby, Usmania "Fine Dining" has some good seekh kabobs and reasonable karhai but Sabri is more popular so if you guys are in mood for desi food and haven't been to Sabri before then you may want to go there instead. Uru-Swati has some fine South Indian food, including great dosas. And of course Tahoora Sweets needs no introduction. Personal favorites: mango kalakand and pista burfi. That said, with the exception of Imriti, none of the sweets that we have tried from there really disappointed.

Lastly, the lunch buffet at Reza's Restaurant offers outstanding value for money. There are four of those in Chicago, including one in Clark St. next door to Devon. The cuisine there is Persian/Mediterranean but the buffet features some nice nihari and great chicken biryani too!
