which side of the Niagara Falls? the one on the US side or the one on Canadian side [you get the best view of the Horseshoe Falls] :)

Canadian side has the best view and that's why most people come to Canada to see the Niagara Falls. i always see a small group of the tourists on the American side, trying to take a peek of the falls...poor guys! :(

lol, ok so Canadian sides. I can't find the hours of operation. will be driving from Chicago just to see falls. 1 night stay. where can we eat halal please let me know thanks.

We have stayed at Marriott near Niagara falls and it was awesome! in fact just the other day I saw a groupon for that, not a bad deal for $144/night.. here is the link: Marriott Gateway on the Falls Deal of the Day | Groupon Buffalo

day time is fun.. we did maid of the mist boat tour and then they had fireworks at night time.. I am not sure but I think they have fireworks on weekends during summer or at least on national holidays! It was a lot of fun.. if you stay at marriott you might very well be abl to see the changing colors of the fall at night time!! LOVED it

no recommendations for desi food but we ate this midle eastern place near the falls and food was good! We also had chaat from passage of india or something like that.. didnt like it!

Chicago.. doesnt everyone eat at sabri? and get mithai from Tahoora? thats what I did :smiley:

if you come around July 1 [Canada's Independence Day] you'll love the fireworks after dark in the backdrop of the Horseshoe Falls. :)
