Even if its only your parents who know about the rishta…you have no way of knowing for sure that the ex’s immediate family (especially the mother) did not talk about it to other family members. Still too big of a risk in my opinion. Odds of something like this staying a secret (especially when the ex is now a part of the family) are slim to none.
