God's strange conspiracies

Why He is playing mind games with mankind :grumpy:

Its not even funny
Its like a champion playing chess with a 10 year old and he sports a wide grin at his clever moves while watching the kid’ face growning in confusion and disturbance ?

No, I dont have any issues with him thnak God I am at peace, a blessing nontheless.

What do you think he is hellbent on sending truckloads to hell and only a handfull to heaven ?

His first trick, he made a statue asked his creature to bow against his brand new creature ?

I ask why you set an example so strong and then ask your creature to never follow it ? :-? And if you in your infinite wisdom have done so, then why do you need to brag about it ? and publish it in all your publications ?

Its like for example a teacher tells her students that last year she made a mouth watering yummy cheese cake asked all her student share it, one student refused and she expelled it from the class.
But you must not eat cheese cake, I will never forgive you if any one of you ever eat cheese cake !!

I mean huhh

A sane person would ask, bhai if you want to stop you pupils from eating cake the why in the first place you tell the story of last year ?
or else be consistent

Re: God's strange conspiracies

There's a simple answer. God exists but all religions are man made, which is why they can't reconcile. The insanity you see is attributed to man, not God.

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

Code: If you read Quran, you will notice that it was not the statue that he asked angels to bow down…

Quran has wisdom and only those who are sincere in finding truth will find the miracles in the Divine Book…

Quran categorically says that Allah asked angels to bow down to Adam:as: after he blows His own soul into him…

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

Some people learn it the hard way and some the easy way but there are some people who never learn. All these threads poping up about God why he does that, why he did that, what if this, what if that and so on. I know there are things that are hard to explain. As long as I am praying and doing my duty of being a good muslim and moving along with time within the limits set by Allah :swt: I know I am safe. But I assure you of one thing and that is every single person will have answer to their questions the day they die. Every thing will be clear as crystal. Now to be on the safe side to make sure you end up on the right side its ALL UP TO YOU. Allah :swt: gave you the brain to think and ALONG WITH THAT He told you to avoid few things and now its all up to you how you would like to persue your life. Thats why He gave you the options and along with that He gave you the ability to chose the right option.

I’d say wait till you die and you will have all your answers.

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

I’d say that this is the ultimate cop out. God wouldn’t have given man the unique gift of reasoning if he didn’t intend for man to use it. I highly doubt he is sitting “up there” counting how many times a day you pray.

**I think he is very confused and he is in a hurry to find the answers maybe we should help him get there fast:) **

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

I think you’ve overlooked a very very important point here. Iblis had the choice in front of him as Adam set an example later on. Iblis could have repented but yet he asked for respite. Adam on the other hand asked for foregiveness instead of behaving arrogant as Iblis did. Like Teaser said here, reasoning was gifted to us so we could choose. Allah SWT made known the correct choices and the incorrect ones. Now if you choose the incorrect ones after you have been told then whose fault is it.

Re: God's strange conspiracies

Your answer is definitely simple but wrong.

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

He gave the gift so we could use it but before we could use He also gave us the options to chose from wrong and right. Now its up to us to make the right decision. Its like taking a test but before you go sit in test you would study the subject to make sure you know what would be in the test.

And yes I assure you He does not sit “up there” and count how many times I have prayed He has others to do the counting for Him.

The Honor is all yours :). I fail to undestand if someone is so much interested in finding the truth but does not have the guts to kill him/herself and find out the truth

Re: God's strange conspiracies

I think the analogy could be continuted by the teacher saying "if you don't eat cake while in school, you will be rewarded upon graduation with virgins hand feeding you cake for the rest of your life."

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

Ah! Jealousy … :aj:

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

yeah… I’m jealous that I can’t force myself to believe that the afterlife is full of the very same carnal pleasures I was supposed to avoid while being pious on earth rather than a spiritual reward/punishment. :halo:

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

Putting allegory aside…one second of thought will reveal that those same desires have drastically different consequences between here and there…unlike some Christians who are into this whole self-flagellation fetish, we don’t DENY ourselves pleasures (except perahps during fasting), we guard ourselves against the consequences of pleasurable acts.

Ours is not a faith of denial…nothing forced about that. But feel free to beat yourself over the head while trying to understand that…

Re: God’s strange conspiracies

Islam allows you to enjoy carnal pleasures but sets some limits to it. No need to act like animals, jahan dil chahay moon mar liya …

Re: God's strange conspiracies

Hey, I'm not the one who said it is against God's laws to eat certain foods, drink, dance, sing, talk to people of the opposite sex, etc. I don't think God cares so much about those things, he cares about our spiritual development. But even if he did, I surely don't think he is going to turn around and give us those things for eternity. Good spiritual behavior will receive spiritual rewards.

Re: God's strange conspiracies

You seem to be catching on. Bravo!

Keyword: Spiritual
The virgins in the next life will be of spiritual nature not carnal. No carnal pleasures.

Re: God's strange conspiracies

Educate us on how to achieve that, please... spiritual development that is...

Re: God's strange conspiracies

Cool deal. I have not heard that Islamic interpretation. That makes sense to me. Is that consensus pov or the belief of particular sects?

Re: God's strange conspiracies

Oh...so, again allegory aside (a luxury you're not affording us to have), what is a spiritual reward? Why can't sex be spiritual? Or drink? Or whatever? Again, we're not big on athropomorphism, so the idea of a corporal existence in the next life and so the possibility of a literal drunken orgy doesn't ring bells here...
