How would you define God? Who created God? Does God knows the future or he/she creating the future as the time pass by and does he/she have control over it?
Re: God
here is how i have it figured in my head
How would you define God?
i think God knows it all he is powerfull yet loving at the same time...he has no father or son..
Who created god?
God was not created by anyone ....he is the creator of us ...
(i cant begin to grasp even a tiny bit of knowledge availible to us humans so im not gonna think WAY BEYOND)
Does God knows the future or he/she creating the future as the time pass by and does he/she have control over it?
God knows all...the future the past the present as he created certains paths we keep on going....he knows his creation(us) so well that he knows what we will end up doing ...he has control over everything at all times
Re: God
....and god knows all things..and he is everywhere! I will suffer now and i will get my 42 virgins in heaven!
Re: God
God is not comparable to anything, humans with their knowledge or imagination could ever fathom. The moment you start comparison, then it is not God.
It is beyond limited comprehension of human mind.
Re: God
Well said Code REd
Re: God
What exactly are you trying to say? We do not question what we don’t understand???
Please shed more light on and I quote," The moment you start comparison, then it is not God."
It seems like a statement from 1984… ![]()
By the way, you haven’t answered my questions or it is against the boundries of your religious beliefs???
To HOPEFULL, can you explain further and I quote, “God was not created by anyone …”
Re: God
God is the creator of everything but himself :he is the beginning and he is the end. ![]()
Re: God
i think he is trying to say this…
i could not have said it better in my own words
here is the reference to the source of this passage

Re: God
small entities of energy combined when there was no time, no mass
to make one gigantic force of energy( God ) ...
Re: God
I usually make it clear when I am quoting from somewhere ![]()
I have not read 1984 yet, It might be coincidence ![]()
I moved it here because it is more suited to philosophy, hope you wont mind ![]()
now let me quote you …
**Define God … **
I can’t. Maybe someone else want to try, I have very limited idea about him.
Who created God
This is very understandable question… humans are themselves creatures, so they think everyone must have a some creator… Any thing without creator is not understandable. Here it is the limitation on the side of human imagination and comprehension.
For example, a child without father does not make sense, there must be some one. same way if there is something there must be a creator… It is the deadend for human mind. Now please read my earlier post again. Thanks
God knows the future or he/she creating the future as the time pass by and does he/she have control over it?
Time and space restrictions are for us (mankind and other creatures). God creates time and space at will. Destroys it, at will.
I hope i answered your questions according to my limited knowledge and understanding
You said
We do not question what we don’t understand???
I say
*We understand, God is not a questionable. *
Re: God
God is someone we cant define , no one among us created God , no one else created God...
infact he created all including u n me, he knows times dat have passed and times to come coz he created time Himself...
Furqan: are u sure heaven?
Re: God
if god knows everything, god knows the past, god knows the future, then why is there talk of man being held accountable for his actions? what man does is god's will afterall. why wait till judgement day.
god is an imaginary entity man has made up - it is the sub total of his fear of the unknown. god is a concept riddled with holes, yet man clings onto it because there is so much of this universe he doesnt know yet, and he would like an easy explanation for it all - leave it to a supernatural god which defies the laws that bind him and his logic. that way, the fearsome unknown is replaced by a warm glow of safety by Him.
Re: God
how does foreknowledge imply causation? even if i know exactly what you’re thinking, they’re your thoughts.
Re: God
I know a person was copying in her exam. Am I responisble for that
?
Re: God
God is all around you. It's just a matter of opening our eyes.
"Aur tum apnay parwardigar ki kon kon si naymat ko jhutlao gay"
If you look closely there is a real system in this chaos. From the rotation or earth around it's axis to the birth of a child. It's up to you to deny or appreciate the **perfection of this system **that we take for granted. It just couldn't happen with a 'big bang', time or evolution.
Re: God
God knows about the past and the future…
maybe its like we are His AI creations, acountable for our own actions and deeds …
Re: God
Everyone here has a copy right to talk on behalf of God.
Re: God
ravage, are you suggesting that a person's actions are not god's will?
Re: God
no, im not suggesting that. if a bank gave you a line of credit, every purchase you make will go through the bank in order to happen but they will be your purchases, even though its the bank's money, and the bank is enabling each action to happen.
