Two wrongs don’t make one right. If publically declared religious person is doing wrong, it means he is essentially denying the punishments at the back of his mind too. This also means he is denying that God is there to hold you accountable for your deeds. Difference being that one openly denies God’s existence and publically known as atheist, the other is publically somoeone on religion but denies the teachings.
