There is no need to hang anyone Dhobi bhai, Pakistan simply lost the Test series because the way they played or lack of play, poor planning (if it existed) worst ever way to play the warm up game, Oh yea the musical chair that is going on with the openers since Chacha Sahib become man-in-charge.
What Woolmer has to say about all this, that will be interesting and I would be certainly waiting, what excuse he bring's up for the loss of test series.
Once again I will say Lack of consistency (in other threads it was considered obtuse by some guppies) which was the down fall of Pakistani team.

I have read in some post here that Shahid Nazir is not a part of ODI team, if that is true than its really sad, I hope its not true. Tauffy, Farhat and Butt should be sent packing right away and let them play domestic cricket and if they can improve and impress.
if Hafiz is brought then let him be a part of the team as a visitor only as Malik is fit (I assume according to Woolmer) so one slot as an opener goes to him and other I would say -give it and forget it- to Afridi regardless of test or ODI, he is not worst than what we saw in the pervious tests.

I agree with you fully. The musical chair of trying different openers is costing Pak team big time in the end. Had we persisted with Farhat or Yasir Hameed along with Butt for at least a good period of time and let them play without a clout of fear to be dropped from team, my bets are that they would've been consistent.
Now, all HELL is broke loose and we are going to try M. Hafeez for the 4th test. For God's sake, let Taufeeq Umar have a chance with Farhat. One test failure can't take his career away so we should give him one more try. As far as Butt is considered, I think he should be sent home and that's exactly what PCB is doing.
I heard that Asif wants to play but PCB wants him to come in ODI series. I can't get the fact that if he's bowling and training well and supposedly fit, than why not use him. Really, it's going to be a huge task to have a win in Oval if the batsmen don't get the acts together.

Why they will not play Asif in next test?,Yet another great decision by So called Team management,I Would have dropped even Shoaib for Asif,They now deserve to lose next test as well .
