Over the past few days I have noticed a trend of people blessing each other, What do you mean by God Bless… how can you give out blessings willy nilly to every Tom Dick and Harun, wont that just decrease the value… will “bless you” be rendered vertially worthless like the old Afghan currency?
Also, where does one get these blessings that are given out so freely… did someone get them off the back of a lorry, were they left over from when the last Pope died…
Back in my day, the older people had the exclusive right to hand out blessings and only for a reason… if someone had made you a nice dinner, or if for whatever reason they touched your puffed up flaky feet… people had to earn blessings then.
Hmmph, you youngsters… you’ll probably be taking our wrinkles next!

pop into cafe and pick up a few nonsense words that the youngsters use...itll take years off ya.
I used to sign off emails and letters with "blessed be". A lot of people are athiest and so god bless sounds rude. I picked up blessed be from some Wiccans.
