God and gays: Churchgoers divided

Re: God and gays: Churchgoers divided

What? Thats a pretty big statement to make, are you sure? I ofcourse agree in spirit with the general pov you have, but do you actually mean that anyone who commits a gunah (breaking Islamic law) is a kafir?

Re: God and gays: Churchgoers divided

I feel sorry for many who have permitted religious dogma to rot their minds and believe hatred is a religious right when attibuting man's nonsense to a GOD

I believe ALLAH made all, including both gay, heterosexual, lesbians , transexuals, bi sexuals . Man can not create only god, the only thing man creates is words which he attibutes to GOD when espousing his puritannical hate mongering. :)

So you were Kafir when you believed nothing was wrong with Lesbianism? Are we to assume you now have the latest knowledge regarding all aspects of Islam? But how can you since "your intellect is constantly in motion"?

BTW, I love this one:

Ignorance has a habit of making its patient think that he has knowledge and he is better than others
[/quote]
Too bad those that suffer from it don't see it and only apply it to others.

Re: God and gays: Churchgoers divided

Committing a sin does not make you a kafir, no matter how big a sin it is. Thats the correct belief, the belief of Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah.

I believe Lajawab was talking more along the lines of creed, for example someone saying, no i wont do Salaah, or doing Salaah is not important, or saying Angels dont exist, or we wont be raised after death, that would surely put you outside the fold of Islam.
