I really like the visual density options (cozy/comfortable/compact) as well as the advanced search features.

I really don’t like the new look. I don’t know maybe with time it will grow on me. I feel like it doesn’t flow, its very rigid

Didn’t like UI . I don’t like ‘Icon’, I want it to show it as ‘Archive’, ‘Delete’ etc

hmmm. old look was good and this one is also good. I just need one feature that isn’t available in Gmail…that is folders options. I don’t like this label thingyy. But it seems gmail will never be changing it :hinna:

yeah, i switched to new look yesterday, and it is amazing. like they way to control left panel of folders and chat box.

but that’s manual! Isn’t there some auto-direct to specific folder option? Cannot use ‘move to’ for sooo many emails

They don’t need to change it. It’s a fabulous option. While moving to different folders is very linear and overly structured, tags provide you with more flexibility since you can tag the same email with different tags, and each tag acts as a “virtual” folder. It’s one of those things I wish were available in every software I use including my operating system.

Look for ‘Filters’ in gmail settings.

They tested out this theme for a few months before taking it to production. I’ve been using it for a while and its very productive. All the compression styles get things into focus and the auto-expand feature doesn’t let anything stay out of reach. They do have a lot more themes for your playing pleasure. Try them out.
