How to have this glowy look? Though i tried many foundations but could’t ever have this look..is this because of lights or some product?**

Re: Glowy look..

Adobe Photoshop :D

Re: Glowy look..

Benefit high beam

Re: Glowy look..

You need a dewy finish foundation

Or Benefit's High Beam

Or MAC Strobe Cream

Basically something to highlight

Re: Glowy look..

Do they work on desi skin tones too?

Re: Glowy look..

Bobbie browns Luminous foundation(but thts for oily skin) and body shop's shimmer beads

Re: Glowy look..

Liquid highlighters like the one's Reha mentioned. Though Benefit's moon beam (not high beam) or Girl Meets Pearl are better suited for desi skin tones.

Powder highlighters available in most brands for all skin tones. Sleek one's seem to be popular.

Shimmery blushes e.g. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Sticks or MAC's mineralize skinfinish powders are two of the most popular ones.

Some makeup artists even use shimmery pigments as highlighters.

Re: Glowy look..

yaar ab tho jaga jaga you get these highlighters - try a couple and see which suits you best.

Re: Glowy look..

thank you all :D...i am getting interested in mac strobe cream that Reha mentioned..i read the reviews,so far they are good..anyone used it?

Re: Glowy look..

I have the strobe cream and trust me it would never give a glow like this!!!

Re: Glowy look..

The skin is actually pretty matte. There is highlighting on the cheekbone and browbone, inner corner of the eye and cheekbones. Personally, I would use the same powder I use for highlighting my browbone to highlight my cheeks... and that is actually what I do as well. It keeps the look consistent.

Not to mention photoshop... so don't expect your face to reflect the light like this all the time but in the right lighting you will get the effect.

Re: Glowy look..

but does that cream give glowy look?

Re: Glowy look..

This is the look I’ve been trying to achieve for a while. Either my face gets serioulsy shiny or just stays matte. I got this bronzer from Hard Candy (sold at walmart) in the colour Tiki but it’s not really a bronzer at all, atleast not on my skin. Here’s a pic of it: …She Speaks of Beauty: Review: Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer - Tiki](http://www.shespeaksofbeauty.com/2010/10/review-hard-candy-so-baked-bronzer-tiki.html)

Anywho - I’ve tried benefit’s moon beam and sun beam and I didn’t like how it added that extra layer on my skin but I really like this hard candy bronzer to high light. I use MAC’s cream colour base in hush and set it with Hard Candy tiki. I only apply the highlight to the tops of the my cheekbones, under my brows in the center and sometimes to the bridge of my nose.

Glowy look..

Try Mac mineralized skin finish in Soft & Gentle. It will get the job done I promise!

Re: Glowy look..

are u sure? i am a bit dark skinned...would that work for me too?

Glowy look..

Yes Ainee. It's a shimmer dust type baked powder and it's a very pretty light pinkish color and u put it on with a blush/stippling brush over ur blush. It doesn't really have any color but for sure will make ur face glow. U can apply it to all areas of ur face and lower neck for that beautiful heavenly glow :)
Go to the Mac counter and have the girl put it on ur face and walk around the mall for 30-40 mins and then look at urself. Only buy it if u like what u see! I'm pretty sure u r gonna love it!
