yaar other indian posters are more emotional in their responses, which is what I was going for.
anyway you guys seem to explain away the motivations of Indian Muslim by linking them with Pakistan, when they're peaceful or otherwise getting good press everyones all India is one country.
you and i both know that this is not a fair comment.
if an indian muslim is guilty of tax evasion, credit card fraud, domestic abuse, etc....nobody will mention pakistan or de-indianize him.
if an indian muslim is involved in jihadi terrorism or some other crime where the common denominator is his religious affiliation, that is when islam (and potentially pakistan) comes into play and indianness is removed from the playing field. pan-islamist terrorists are not bred in india. in contrast, they are bred with impunity in pakistan. even when indian muslims are involved in this kind of thing, their brainwashing comes from abroad (rendering national background irrelevant), and a direct pakistan link is usually not hard to find. the case in question is no different.
