njgal.. but why would ER consider pregnancy as an emergency? I would think if the person is in labor it’s a different story!!

I dont like people who use the system like this.. US is the worst country with benefits for mothers (i get 4 weeks of maternity leave and some companies dont even give that) and then we have all these outsiders who can not only give birth here without paying a penny but go back home happily ever after with the child’s citizenship and rave about their kids having dual citizenship and how they got it all free in the US!!

Pregnancy is not an emergency but one can complain of any symptoms that are consider to be and get all the tests done. For a pregnant woman the hospitals run every test under the book. I am not advocating milking the system but there are MAJOR loopholes in US healthcare system.
