Spiral.. its really not that long.. how long have they been married for? On green card, it takes about three years and 1 year with the citizenship! My husband and I were in the same boat and we decided not to have kids until we were in the same country settled! I moved to Pakistan for 8 months after rukhsati but then decided to come back to sponsor my husband and he was here within a year!!

Every country has its own system, whether you agree or not, and you have to follow the protocol if you want to provide the best for your family and in this case it’s giving birth in the US while her husband is around.

Why cant the husband go to Pakistan and be with her for a few months? you can stay out of the country on green card for six months!

He works here and can’t take off.
