i would like to propose following wait for a week and if our government doesnt take action on these thugs then start sending them Multi-colored specially crafted bangles to the following with the message wear them and sit at home.
Asfand yar wali
Nawaz sharif
shahbaz sharif
Imran Khan
Army chief and all the generals
DG ISI
police chief
NWFP CM
and lastly PM .
i am not mentioning zardari and rehman malik because we all knew them as bunch of thugs well before.
if they dont act let them see how we feel about them..

First you want the army out of politics, and want them to take orders from a civilian government. And when they do that, you want them to take responsibility for the ineptness being shown by the civilian government?
The army has now taken a back seat, and is waiting for orders from the civilian government on what course to take. If the army takes unilateral action against an internal uprising, it will be considered the beginnings of another martial law.
Your scorn should be directed at the corrupt and inept government sitting in Islamabad, who have been sold out for far less than Musharraf.
Although i have supported Imran Khan as our next leader, i hate this attitude towards these extremists.

yes i was imrans supporter as well and still respect him but although he has the vision of pakistan but i guess he lacks the vision how to get out of this mortal danger.

i am not just blaming Army but whole lot all of them .
yes they do take orders from them but they are part of government and establishment that is why they are at the mid end of the list.
the democratic representation has to fulfill the desires of people. i doubt swatis are anymore hijacked than an average person under zardari. there is a disagreement sure, but declaring it a WAR is not a smart move. Swati's businesses have been taken over by Taliban... I doubt average business has been taken over by Zardari or other corrupt govt officials. Its Taliban who are imposing civil war, we only want to reply and not surrender.
Yeah, so it's not "our war", but war between taliban and america, so they should go and fight "their" war in their playground: afghanistan, not swat, buner or even waziristan.

Have to agree with you here. As one of Immi's biggest fans (mainly for cricketing reasons) his stance has been disappointing to say the least. About time he spoke out against these criminals.
Maybe he is afraid of these mafroor thugs going beserk and ransacking his Nimal project in Mianwali which would be an easy target for these terrorists since it is quite near to FATA :)
