i totally agree with you here - this is the opinion i had 5 or so years ago - husband earns why in the world does the wife need to work at all - but this has changed since then

each to their own but i wud nt be comfortable being the sole provider or even the one who brings in more money to home! call me old fashioned or whatever but i still go by the idea of the husband being the provider or atleast the main provider so i would rather have him earn less then myself earn more than him.
