I think this is where Islam plays a big role: In Islam all of the meetings/dating prior to marriage is prohibited.

Yeah, I agree, a virgin would also know what a 'dodgy' tool looks like, unless the girl gets married very very early (like pre-teen maybe back home) am sure she would know if something wasn't quite 'normal' cos apart from basic biology or sex ed at school there is so much of this stuff on the internet.
