Re: Girls would u marry a person with very long beard?
And yea - if my fiance down the road decided to grow out a dari ......... honestly I would freak. But only because I know he is SO not the type to have one....and if he decides to do that - it would truly mean that he is not the guy I knew and had gotten married too.
Re: Girls would u marry a person with very long beard?
True Story: an extended cousin of mine had to get a divorce (Nikkah had only happened, no rukhasti) because he went from clean shaven to having an unkept maulvi beard, dropped out of engineering school, and started talks of settling in the middleast (with no education). The beard was the first sign of strangeness but there were obviously other huge factors as well --> main thing was this guy changed so extremely dramatically that it scared my cousin and her family naturally.
Some people may think this was kinda extreme or harsh.... for her family to end the whole thing.
But to put it simply and bluntly - this is not what the girl had signed up for. And why go through the rukhasti and really discover how much the guy had changed. Gradual change is understandable to a sudden change like this is definitely shady... in my opinion.
Re: Girls would u marry a person with very long beard?
my hubby has a smallish one...however its annoying when my relatives refer to him as a molvi just cos he got some hair on his face...my relatives are sooo narrow minded.

Re: Girls would u marry a person with very long beard?
whats with the topic, would you marry a person, I mean i understand in some cases ppl are trying to be politically correct and use terms like salesperson and chairperson, but in this case why cant we just use the term man, guy, dude? unless the question also applies for women with long beards.
