No, not really.. Every relationship is different. I and my husband have been together for almost 8 years. We pretty much grew up knowing each other. He and I never dated other people. Honestly, we don’t know what it’s like to go out on a date with another person. Why would I then let my man have lunch with another woman and possibly introduce him to the world of dating. Yes, we both are a little insecure when it comes to this. Deep down I know he will never fall for another woman and he knows I won’t fall for another guy. Why would I risk what I have for a stupid lunch? I just know it’s not okay with him and I respect him enough to refuse to go on lunch with another dude at work. I work with ALL men. They ask me every damn day to have lunch with them. I don’t! Do I want to? Sometimes and I have no hidden motives to do so but I still don’t

You are contradicting yourself. Deep down you are not secure, deep down you know he CAN fall for another woman and you are jealous. You cab try to reciprocate the same behavior to justify it but that doesn’t counter that fact that you have a mindset of a backward, possessive male and it matters little whether you use religion for it or you do not.
