Pakistani girls have difficulty letting go their brothers after marriage.
Why is that?

I think some of us interact more with our brothers (due to age) than our own father and that creates a very unique bond.
Its hard to see someone you have known your entire life just about, not speak to you as much anymore. You want to hold onto the memories of growing up and want that person to be there for you like they always were. Brother's are a real comfort to have around and so its difficult when they get married and move away. Although eventually you can learn to deal with it.

^ tru sissters who have brothers more or less there age can never let go because of that bond and usualy when they have a problem they always go to there brother.....but thats what ive noticed but i could be wrong

I am glad my sister did not walk away from me as we grew up, got busy with our careers and spouses, etc. She has been there for me every single time that I am in need. I am glad she did not let go of me.

When my older bro got married i was happy cos i got a really nice bhabi i cud do girly stuff with cos i neva had a sister. So i neva really had that issue of letting my bro go.

brothers and sisters are always a blessing to have each other accessible, and they are actually more inspiring, too.
being helpful and helping are the key words here.
& not a selfish and possessing family member, who does not let go, as in holding on to the time and resources of their older or younger siblings.

Beig around when one is in need is something else, being intrusive and possessive is totally different, its the later that i am pointing out.
Like many want to go out with Bhai, when he wants to enjoy some time alone with his wife, or expect a gift from brother whenever he buys something for his wife.

Define "control". Is it wrong to expect that a man will make his immediate family a priority. He should be close to his sister, but she doesn't have to call every single day or expect that every time he purchases something for his wife or kids he should buy something bigger and better for her and her kids.
