I really don't care about profession as long as he has good education and job and can maintain decent standard of living i am ok.
But if i have a choice i would like to marry a Doc, in Pakistan they don't earn well until or unless they do specialization but i wanted to be a doctor and couldn't get admission so apni hasrat husband main puri kerna chahti hoon :p

I married my husband and we are in the same profession. I find it awesome because I can discuss it with him and he understands. There is no such thing as work pressure because of the fact that we understand each others work concerns and help each other.

^now what's wrong in marrying someone for the sake of money and success? The guy should consider himself lucky for marrying a girl who wants him to become a successful person in life.

My fiance is a doctor. Although to be honest, if I didn't come from a family full of doctors myself...I never would've been able to deal with his hectic schedule and talking about work when at home or hanging out with friends (all of whom happen to be doctors too!) (mind you 80% of the time I have no idea what they're talking about!)......
It can be super stressful too depending on the specialty. DF happens to be in one that's very highly paid BUT also has a high rate of lawsuits......so one accident/lawsuit....he loses his license and its over. Not to mention us having to always worry about setting up our finances/assets in such a way so that in the event he does get sued, majority of our personal assets will be protected.

Someone with a professional degree, so either a doctor himself or a lawyer. Not that there's anything wrong with the other professions, but that's just my preference. Oh and someone that doesn't travel for a living. Not allowed!

Really? I have to been to many docs but hardly found any goodlooking :( lols. As for eccentric? I wonder why?! Hmmm.
