girls the fear of...

Re: girls the fear of…

Depends on the jurisdiction - in Canada (criminal code is a national law) there is no statute of limitation on child abuse. In US, it differs from state to state since criminal law is legislated by each state.

I have no idea about European or South Asian countries.

Back to the topic initiated by the OP. Trust your instincts. If you are uncomfortable, find ways to protect yourself and avoid the company of the uncle and father. If it’s paranoia on your part, then the less time spent with them, the fewer possibilities for your suspicions.

If you are right about their bad intentions, again avoid being alone with them.

To those here who are skeptical, I know of two women, one desi and one who is not desi, who were molested as children. The desi girl by an “uncle”, one of those “friends” of the family. The other girl, a non-desi girl who was in fact abused by her father. To this day, I see the fallout of the abuse in their lives. The worst of the tragedy was how no one wanted to believe them and the people who should have protected them, doubted their claims.
