There is a marked difference in the way hijaabis are treated. When my sister started wearing the hijaab she was so happy, other Muslim men would refer to her as 'sister', be extra nice in the halaal grocery store and keep a respectable distance. She noted a definite change in the behaviour of men.

Even you feel safe and secure in hijab. Its just a natural feeling. Once you start wearing hijab it will be very difficult for you to go out without wearing it. I mean its just like that. Maybe its beacuse of the behaviour of men that gets changed as you mentioned.
I agree that you do get treated differently when you wear hijab. As to why, is dependent on the individual. Some I suppose have more respect for you and they do so, others because that is the taught thing to do, and others well, there are those that wont treat you differently, regardless.
Hey you should know i check out Hijabi girls. Medic whacked me one.
Btw you didnt get the sarcasm did you? With hijabis you can't see a figure. Thus the guy must be extremely desperate to check out a girl with no figure. Or one in baggy clothing. That is why they are animals. They are really desperate.
i respect anyone and everyone, that is until they show me they dont deserve te respect in some way / the other
guys stare whether a girls in hijab or not, they respect them more for it (not in CM's case of course) bcos theyre forgetting the norm of te society and doing what they believe in
when my friend started wearing hijab she told me the same thing,
