PSquared , I totally agree with what you said about society pointing fingers at a relationship that is anything outside the norm and I would never indulge in any such relationships simply because my family's reputation means more to me than any other relationship.
**What I'm referring to is a platonic relationship , something that you would share with a best friend , cuz contrary to popular belief , I do think that one can be simply good friends with a member of the opposite sex without it breaching the norms of society. Of course , it requires that both are aware of the limits of that relationship and should not attempt to over-step those set boundaries. **
For me , personally cuz I wouldn't generalize , I knoe what my culture and society demands of me and I know what my limitations are and as long as I have faith in myself , I know I wouldn't do anything that would harm my family or my reputation.
