modesty? huh. nobody dislikes attention bt only from people they r comfortable with not from strangers :halo:.
haha, well said.
I know one’s dressing and behavior can attract unwanted looks BUT that doesnt justify it.
How is that being hypocrite? If i dont want a pathan’s attention, i have every right to reject it. Does that mean i should do the same for someone whose attention i don’t mind? I don’t think so. It’s all about one’s preference :).

You have the right to reject it, but not the right to complain about the staring. That's the hypocrisy I think Ashy2010 was talking about.

Since you accepted that you do not mind some particular guys' attention, you are not hypocrite. I am talking about those girls (and yes I know many of them) who make a fuss when they get stared by pathans and taxi drivers and even scold them by saying 'ghar main maa behan nahi hai kia, or pehle kabhi aurat nahi dekhi kia'.. but they reciprocate the looks and smile when they get looks/ stares by some guy who seems to be belonging to a good class, is well dressed, is smart etc. Even though they do not particularly aim to make a friendship, they do not mind exchanging a few smiles with these decent guys. So girls do not always DISLIKE these stares. Its just those particular men whom they dislike. Its just my point of view :)
man, this would be the biggest heartbreaking truth for all the men out there, because when we stare, whistle, throw suggesting remarks and vulgar comments at passing by females, sex is exactly what we hope to get in return. :(
I apologize to be the devils advocate but if girls dont want to be treated as an object, why would they want to dress up as an object. I mean honest to god, even back in late 80's I've seen ladies in Pakistan wearing white cotton qameez and black bra under it. Now please dont tell me that they were not asking for attention.
