It is important that the husband and wife are on the same page about finances. Before marriage one should let it be known if the wife is going to work or not. Debt is also very important. I have seen people become medical doctors and pharmacists with two hundred thousand dollars of debt and not wanting to work. It is unlikely with that much debt and effort but if the husband has the money then it is possible.
I compeletey agree about debt part. And i dont want to live a bankrupt life. These days i tell you and i think Mamzie too was point out that..we have to very clear about who we are and whether our values are same. Heyy..if i was earning.. 6 figure salary then i wouldn't mind if my wife stayed home. Heck..if i earned 6 figure salary later in life..then my wife can choose to stay home. I have no problem with that..what i have a problem is that..when both couple are not willing to work together to make their lives better for themselves, and their future children. There has to be a balance!
