My friend’s bhabhi is Lebanese Muslim. This woman is very religious - wearing a scarf and abaya when she goes out - won’t shake male colleagues hand, etc., etc.

But, when she’s in an all women’s setting, she’ll wear short dresses, sleeveless tops. Yahan tak, the ladies (because they’re Middle Eastern) have belly-dancing parties. They don’t consider it wrong when they’re among other women.

That’s the point I was trying to make earlier. Some women will do it for the “humor”…doesn’t mean that they dress this way on a regular basis. Depends upon the individual.
