In our culture its always the guy’s family who goes to girl’s house to check things out. And the poor girl goes through the horrible chai routine. However, it was different today..girl’s dad came over to check me out and we hit it off pretty well. I was in my jeans and t-shirt and we had a casual conversation for like half hour. Things went smoothly and he took my business card/email and off he went…saying his girl will contact me. I was like..man! I don’t care if the girl likes me or not.. I like daddy-cool..we may go out golfing soon :-o
I think it’s a much better setup…but then again I have met a few dads in the past where I felt gawd…lemme help you find a guy for your daughter.
What do girls feel about their dads visiting other people’s houses instead of them serving chai to every other family?

Fayz that would be so much better! A few times the guys side offered us to visit but I think that was more cos they wanted to save on thier air fare/long drive. Later when they came anyway it didn’t help for obvious reasons.
But that is one very cool dad Fayz. Good luck! It makes more sense too. I mean the girl has to live in the guys house all her lif e so one of the first concerns should be to check waht sort of a place the guy lives in… Ofcourse ur home gives some insight to your lifestyle too.
Even better would be if I along with my family could go to his place and he serves us all chai and khaana :love:
