**u can spell any names any way u like in roman but there is ONLY ONE CORRECT way of writing in urdu/arabic/farsi where most muslim names come from. if u consider the correct spelling [ai'n, sheen, alif, hamzah] then the correct trans-literation comes to 'Eshaa~
since we do NOT pronounce hanzah so we can drop (~) from the spelling. i wud spell the muslim name as Eshaa while to Hindu name i wud spell Ishaa [in Hindi its spelled as ee, sha, aa kii maatra]...this is to differentiate between the Hindu and Muslim name [that is arabic and Hindi]**
