Liyana-- softness, tenderness

Alaia---virtuous

Alayna----Princess (Iranian) Upon (Arabic)

Ayana---Beautiful flower......can also be derived from the male name, Ayaan, meaning "gift"

Re: Girl Names

Minahil
Kehmish
Laiba
Sadaf
Eman
Misha

IL, my little niece is a Minahil. I had never heard it before, even though I'm an Arabic speaker---I haven't heard it used in the parts of the Middle East I've been but it seems to be getting more popular in Pak.

My husband's cousin is a Sadaf. I like the meaning---seashell. Cute!

My husband loves the name Pakeeza for a girl; I can't stand it.

My favorite girl names are:
Noor
Muna
Sonia
Samar
Zoya

i love noor too! but there are already 100 in our khandaan.

Isn’t Isa, the boy’s name pronounced ee-sa? My daughter has the same spelling but it is pronouced ay-sa, eye-sa or i-sa.

Noor-ul-ain is a really nice name but you could also have Qurat-ul-ann, Qurat-ul-ain or Qurat-ul-Ayn meaning cooling, delight of the eye, joy, pleasure, darling. My sister’s name is Qurat-ul-ann and everyone calls her, Annie, which is cute and a common nickname to have with that name! Or some people choose to have the nickname Anna!
