Ok so this irish girl (aged 19) has been found guilty of stabbing her brother (aged 22) to death in december 2008.
She was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter.
I don’t care how violent this person was, nobody deserves to die like that.

So her actions were really not a result of self defense. Its all very sad.
She was a irish…could do anything. Case closed!

so this girl killer her brother, cuz he had a heroine addiction? Yaar this kinda reminds me of the movie VAASTAV, in the end the guy was asking his mother to either give him heroine or kill him.

The judge did not mention self defense. He only "took into consideration his heroin addiction and drinking habits" i.e. the judge understood that the guy was dangerous.
And thats the only reason he gave this girl a suspension instead of a jail sentence...
But as u said Kaun, no matter what the circumstances, this is just disgusting! My jaw had dropped to the ground when I was listening to this news in the car!
well maybe her bro was dangerous..

Well the i dunno what the actual circumstances were, but as far as what the article says she dint have control over the situation and it sounds like self defence, then again i might be percieving it wrong :k:

Call me cold hearted but maybe he deserved it. We don't know how violent he used to become. Maybe she did fear for her safety afterall? Guys can be violent and when someone's all drugged up they can have instances of extreme violence and anger. You don't know what they'll end up doing. He wasn't in his senses and we don't know what he was capable of doing. He punched a woman maybe later on he would've raped her? I think she did the right thing by stabbing her brother whether it was intentional or a reckless act. However, i'm going to have to contradict by syaing that it's not a decent idea to take the law into your hands. There is a reason why the legal system exists :)

But I don’t understand one thing… when people are drunk, they can’t even cross the road on their own, right? Their brain is completely messed up! I saw a video on youtube of this drunk guy who had slipped and was trying to get up back on his feet for like 20 minutes and couldn’t get up! lol
So… how come these drunks have the ability to rape/kill someone??? And this guy was even high on heroin?
