heres another example:
if i hurt myself and told my non-doctor husband…hed be sympathetic and would try and make me feel better even though its nothing big -which i would find really sweet and romantic…if he was a doctor he’d say “shut up its nothing”
a non-doctor would be concerned and force me to take the medicine and get upset if i dont etc.etc. 
the doctor would just say “it’ll resolve within a few days-nothing to worry about” i hope u can understand wot i mean
